A sketchy one

 Happy 2014!.. heh..

So, this is the reason why I didn't post any illustrations in a while. It's my last card done for https://www.facebook.com/SpellweaverTCG. At least until the game launches and they may or may not need to expand it. I want to say for short that I had a great collaboration with them and I wish the best to the team and the project, as well as Alexander Nanitchkov , the Giver of Cards!

I also have to mention that the naga designs are based of an illustration belonging to Alejandro Mirabal done for the same project. And as always, I took some inspiration from our lord and saviour Brad Rigney !

Another Bleach Fan-Art, this time Rudobone!

There's a Diablo 3 contest on Deviant. Started some stuff but it's almost over. Might finish them later.

 Some creepy creepster sketch.
Some fighters of the streets. From memory.

Study time! 2 fairly quick ones after Michael Komarck!

4 fairly quick ones after llllllllladies!

I'm 12 and wat is dis

A rendition of the Nolife (recently Somelife) Kripparrian, after I've seen some pic of him where he looked especially square.  You can see his hardcore (recently casual) gaming action here http://www.twitch.tv/nl_Kripp

{ He's Romanian btw. [turned Canadian (recently Greek)]}

Fairies

My second fairy for SpellweaverTCG. Was fun to do and got some good feedback by both client and some artist friends! You can see some process shots here!

Here's a comission for Nate J Adam as promo for his upcoming novel "The Towers of Truth''. The composition is off center because it was made as a backdrop for a site.

Have you heard of Daily Spitpaint? Of course you have, but let me finish! It's a Facebook group where every day a few themes are posted by the admins and the members can pick from there and do 30 minute related speedpaintings. It's a nice group to at least follow since it gathered a good number of inspirational professionals who post and kick ass. Here's a few of mine.

Here's a sketch that I'm going to adress later featuring my favourite Playstation game. Crash Team Racing!

And hey, I felt bad for abandoning traditional painting for such a long time, and I also felt the need to extend my capabilities a bit so I did some gouache portraits. Starting monochrome. Painted some kewl dudes. Too afraid to try the gracious female form yet haha.

But i did try the gracious female form in digital. I have actually done some experiments in loosening up and trying some painterly approaches, less layers and all that. These are all fairly quick. 1-2-3 hours each.

dudes too And Vampy up there! ^

And my friend Malvina. All hail.

BUT SUDDENLY!! NSFWWWWWWWWWW!!!
HIDE YO CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!

ENHANCE-O-DRAMA

Hey, super-useful information for whoever uses blogger and uploads image through it. First of all the images go to Picasa Web albums so that's where you find/edit/delete them. So, I wanted to make a post and upload as usual when I noticed that some of the uploaded images were looking.. different. Colors were blown out, some were blurred, I thought here we go, another one of those 'color profile' issues where I have to start converting images, or maybe a monitor failure, gotta love those, but nah. It's just an AUTO ENHANCE FEATURE of google's image uploader! That turned itself on without notice!! GOT! TO! LOVE! THOSE!

So here's where you find it if you have that issue https://www.google.com/settings/plus

So thanks for trying to enhance my images and make them awesome Picasa, but I think that's my job and I'll stick with my versions.

Here's an orc. For Spellweaver TCG
That's me moments before I unticked the auto-enhance feature.

And a fan-art of Game of Thrones' Roose Bolton. This is me after I was done with unticking auto-enhance.

A non-enhanced fan-art of Bleach's Cirruci Thunderwitch.
Some digi doodles that could probably use some enhancing, but if anybody is to enhance them, I'd prefer it to be myself!

And some ll1llllllladies done in quite different techniques, either testing brushes or painting styles. All studies. A hard brush one.

A semi hard brush one plus some smudge:
A painterly one:
And a more lengthy one where I failed to catch the likeness of Zoe's pretty smile!
But maybe someone could do something about it. Quick, call the ENHANCE TEAM!
